Terms of Service

Welcome to Fast Cell Repair. By accessing our website or using our repair services across any of our locations in Canada, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Repair Services & Estimates

  • Diagnostic Fee: A diagnostic fee may apply if the device requires extensive testing to identify the fault. This fee will be waived if you proceed with the suggested repair.

  • Price Estimates: All quotes provided are estimates based on the initial inspection. If further issues are discovered during repair, we will contact you for approval before proceeding with additional costs.

  • Repair Time: While we strive for same-day service (typically 30–60 minutes), repair times are subject to part availability and the complexity of the issue.

2. Data Loss & Security

  • Customer Responsibility: Fast Cell Repair is not responsible for any data loss. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to back up all data (photos, contacts, documents) before handing over the device.

  • Access: To perform a complete post-repair test, we may require your device passcode. If you choose not to provide it, we cannot be held responsible for untested functions (e.g., camera, microphone, Wi-Fi) after the repair.

3. Limited Lifetime Warranty

We offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty on specific repairs (such as screen replacements) under the following conditions:

  • What is Covered: Manufacturing defects in the parts installed and the labor associated with the repair.

  • What is NOT Covered: * Physical damage (cracked screens, drops).

    • Liquid/Water damage.

    • Software issues unrelated to the repair.

    • Devices previously or subsequently tampered with by another repair shop or the user.

  • Warranty Claims: You must present the original receipt to claim a warranty.

4. Risk of Repair (Water Resistance & Hidden Faults)

  • Waterproofing: Repairs require opening the device, which may break the manufacturer’s original factory seal. Consequently, your device may no longer be water-resistant.

  • Pre-existing Damage: Devices with heavy impact or liquid damage may have hidden faults that worsen during the repair process. Fast Cell Repair is not liable for devices that become unresponsive during an attempt to fix pre-existing severe damage.

5. Abandoned Devices

  • Collection: Customers will be notified once the repair is complete.

  • Disposal Policy: Any device left at our premises for more than 60 days after the completion of the repair (or after the diagnostic is finished) will be considered abandoned. Fast Cell Repair reserves the right to recycle or sell the device to recover repair costs and storage fees.

6. Parts Quality

  • We use high-quality, premium aftermarket or refurbished original parts. Unless explicitly stated as “OEM/Original Manufacturer Part,” parts used are third-party components that meet or exceed industry standards.

  • Manufacturer Notifications: On certain models (especially newer iPhones), a “Non-genuine part” message may appear in settings after a screen or battery replacement. This is a software notification by the manufacturer and does not affect the performance of your device.

7. Payments & Refunds

  • All payments must be made in full upon collection of the device.

  • Refunds: We do not offer refunds on labor or completed services. If a part is faulty, it will be replaced under our warranty policy.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fast Cell Repair shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services or the failure of any device.
